The Central Gauteng Lions (‘CGL’) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Moos and Bryan Patel as the new Youth and Schools Coordinator and KFC Mini Cricket Coordinator respectively.

Moos takes over the Youth and schools coordinators role after having previously served as the CGL KFC Mini Cricket, Performax and EPG coordinator with distinction. Moos began his career in 2002 as development coach at South Western District Cricket Union before being appointed as the KFC Mini Cricket Coordinator at the same union in 2005. Moos was appointed as the Fan and Schools engagement officer at the recently concluded U19 Cricket World Cup held in South Africa.

“I am very excited and looking forward to growing passion around the schools and youth cricket” commented Gary Moos.

Bryan Patel will replace Gary Moos as the KFC Mini Cricket coordinator. Patel is no stranger to CGL development cricket structures after having previously served as the CGL framework coach of the U13, U12 and U11 teams. Patel will continue with his framework coaching as well as take up the responsibility of Performax administrator.

“I am excited to take on the new role as KFC Mini Cricket and Performax Administrator as well as continue my role as U13 Framework Head Coach, I look forward to the challenges to promote the love and passion for cricket from junior to teenage level,”
